Abstract
Computer simulation can serve as a tool to help the user understand the com plex stray current fields created between multiple adjacent metal structure s and determine if there is a need for remedial measures. It also can be us ed to design new cathodic protection systems or evaluate he performance of existing systems. Computer modeling can be a useful resource for developing cost-effective design and remedial solutions to a wide variety of corrosio n problems.
