A. Pezzola et al., BASE-LINE ELECTROENCEPHALOGRAPHIC TRACINGS IN RABBITS DIFFER SIGNIFICANTLY ACCORDING TO ACUTE OR CHRONIC PREPARATION - A COMPUTERIZED STUDY, Neuropsychobiology, 36(1), 1997, pp. 49-52
Baseline electroencephalographic (EEG) tracings recorded from 'acute'
and 'chronic' rabbits were compared by computerized spectral analysis.
The results showed that baseline EEG activity of rabbits differ signi
ficantly and markedly according to acute or chronic preparation. It is
suggested that this finding should be taken into account when studyin
g the EEG effects of centrally acting drugs.
