Abstract
By means of synchrotron X-ray diffraction method the stress-induced martens ite transformation in TiNi (with two different phase compositions) at room temperature was investigated in situ. Tt has been shown that in alloys with temperature-induced martensite in the initial state a non-periodic fluctua tion of intensity of the X-ray reflexes appear due to anomalous transformat ion B2 + B19'(r) --> B2 --> B19(sr).
