Abstract
Illustrated morphological descriptions of the adult and larval stages of Ev orinea indica (Arrow) are presented. Evorinea hisamatsui Ohbayashi is place d as a junior synonym of E. indica. Brief taxonomic and biological notes ar e included. This species is known so far from India, Japan and Taiwan and i s bivoltine in nature, the adults appearing from June to July and again fro m September to November in India.
