Abstract
We have found electronic phase separation characteristics in Cu-doped manga nese perovskite La0.825Sr0.175Mn1-xCuxO3 (x>0.10) by electron spin resonanc e (ESR) and magnetization study. An extra resonance signal observed in ESR spectra at high temperatures well above T-c provides strong evidence for th e electronic phase separation in these materials. Our results indicate that the background superexchange interaction, here enhanced by Cu doping, is f avorable for electronic phase separation in manganites.
