Ns. Lebedeva et al., A thermogravimetric study of alkyl substituted dipyrrolylmethenes, biladiene, and their complexes with zinc(II) and copper(II), RUSS J PH C, 74(7), 2000, pp. 1039-1044
Thermooxidative destruction off alkyl substituted linear and cyclic di- and
tetrapyrrole compounds, their hydrobromides, and their complexes with zinc
(II) and copper (II) was studied by the method of thermogravimetry. The the
rmal stability of the compounds was shown to be determined to a substantial
extent by the structure of molecules and the nature and length of peripher
al substituents. The formation of salts and complexes with metals substanti
ally increased the thermal stability of linear di- and tetrapyrrole compoun
ds.
