Applicability of the theory of volume filling of pores to adsorption on polyester fiber from solutions

Adsorption of dispersed dyes on polyester fiber from water-dimethylformamid e and water-ethanol media was studied at various temperatures. It was shown that the parameters of the principal equation of the theory of volume fill ing of pores might change their physical meaning when the equation was appl ied to adsorption from solutions. The change in parameter n of the isotherm of this theory from 2 in water to 1 in aqueous-organic solvents was relate d to a change in the solvating power of I:he medium.
