Selective two-dimensional exchange NMR spectroscopy

Earlier we reported a technique to suppress a magnetic polarization of cohe rent transfer that makes it possible to use 2D exchange spectroscopy to stu dy exchange processes. According to this technique, only one nucleus from t he couple's spin system undergoing the spin exchange is excited, which is r eferred to as multiplet selective excitation (MUSEX). In general, at excita tion of this type the spin system behaves as an uncoupled system with multi site exchange.
