Abstract
The magnetic-field structure in solar active regions outside spots is studi ed. The line-of-sight fields were measured using the new Crimean digital ma gnetograph in three spectral lines-Fe I 5253 Angstrom, Fe II 5234 Angstrom, and Ti I 5193 Angstrom. Observations in the Fe II 5234 Angstrom line indic ate systematically higher field strengths than those in the Fe I 5253 Angst rom line. The magnetic fluxes in 2" elements are similar to 4.3 x 10(18) Mx , similar to 4.6 x 10(18) Mx, and similar to 6.2 x 10(18) Mx according to t he Fe I 5253 Angstrom, Ti I 5193 Angstrom, and FeII 5234 Angstrom observati ons, respectively. Elements 2"-8" in size make the largest contribution to the magnetic fluxes of active regions outside spots. (C) 2000 MAIK "Nauka/I nterperiodica".
