We report the status of the Cosmic Microwave Background experiments on Tene
rife. The 5 degrees beam switching radiometers have covered areas of 5000 a
nd 6500 square degrees with sensitivities of 31 and 12 mu K per resolution
element at 10 and 15 GHz, respectively. A joint likelihood analysis of the
region at high Galactic latitude, gives values of 30(-11)(+15) mu K for the
CMB signal and < 28 mu K for any Galactic component. The new Jodrell Bank-
IAC two-element interferometer has obtained a detection of anisotropy at de
clination +41 degrees with an amplitude of 45(-12)(+13) mu K on scales of 1
degrees-2 degrees. The COSMOSOMAS project, a new search for CMB structures
on angular scales of 1 degrees - 10 degrees has started operation in 1998.
We present a brief description of the instrumental setup and the first pre
liminary results.
