Abstract
We report here the identification of the first avian MEF2 gene, termed qMEF 2D. qMEF2D is the first MEF2 protein that contains 41 repeats of glutamine in the C-terminal. This quail gene is more abundantly expressed, in a trans ient fashion, in the developing brain than in the muscle cells. (C) 2000 El sevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
