Domain wall coupling in thin film sandwiches of permalloy/Cu/permalloy, obt
ained by sputtering, of thickness from 2000 Angstrom/200 Angstrom/2000 Angs
trom up to 200 Angstrom/50 Angstrom/200 Angstrom has been studied to determ
ine the coupling field between domain walls. To perform this study samples
were cut in a size small enough to obtain a value of magnetostatic energy o
f the same order than the domain wall energy. Results show the possibility
of obtaining magnetic dots with bistable behaviour of microns size.
