Abstract
The calculation of the electron spin evolution operator was performed in th e presence of frequency migration over the arbitrary hyperfine structure. T he results obtained were used to analyze the transformation of OD mu WFE (o ptically detected microwave field effect) kinetics with concentration on th e system hexafluorobenzene/p-terphenyl - d(14) (C6F6/PTP - d(14)) in n-dode cane. It was shown that only the account for the additional electron transf er reaction PTP - d(14)(-) + C6F6 --> PTP - d(14) + C6F6- allows one to ach ieve a good agreement between the theoretical and experimental data. The ra te constant of this process was estimated to be 10(10) M(-1)s(-1). The theo retical approach developed can be also used to analyze magnetic and spin ef fects in photochemically induced reactions of radical ions. (C) 2000 Publis hed by Elsevier Science B.V.
