Abstract
A sugar-containing polyester was synthesized by the polymerization of sorbi tol and divinyl sebacate using Candida antarctica lipase as catalyst in ace tonitrile. NMR analysis showed that sorbitol was regioselectively acylated at 1- and 6- positions.
