Abstract
This symposium acknowledges that the dispute between cognitively orien ted and behavior analytically oriented behavior therapists is, in fact , a paradigm clash and that the essential disagreements are ''pre-anal ytic'' in nature and are not resolvable by data alone. (C) 1997 Elsevi er Science Ltd.
