Squash motor branch: extrinsic compression of the motor branch of the median nerve

Independent motor branch compression of the median nerve is rare. Sporadic reports have identified a number of intrinsic aetiological causes. We repor t a case secondary to extrinsic compression from the handle of a squash rac ket in a national squash player, with a review of the relevant literature.
