Abstract
Using the method of time-domain terahertz-transmission spectroscopy we meas ured the far-infrared complex dielectric function at room temperature in th e range of 3 to 80 cm(-1) for a variety of samples: Li2Ge7O15 (LGO), (CH3 N HCH2 COOH)(3). CaCl2 (TSCC), high-permittivity microwave ceramics, etc. The precision of the measurements and subsequent evaluation of the dielectric function is discussed.
