Abstract
Low-energy lattice modes were investigated above and below the temperature of phase transition from trigonal phase to monoclinic one in KSc(MoO4)(2) b y Raman scattering method. X-ray data and Raman spectra manifest the anomal ies in the temperature region above T similar to 260 K, temperature of phas e transition to monoclinic phase which were not explained in the previous p henomenological model. More complex model is discussed. It was supposed tha t at 237-240K the first-order phase transition between two monoclinic phase s C2/m and C2/c occurs in polydomain samples of KSc(MoO4)(2).
