Influence of induced-polarization parameters on transient electromagnetic responses in complex geological media

Numerical modeling of TEM soundings of media involving quasi-layered polari zable subsurface structures that are often encountered in petroliferous sed imentary provinces has been performed using specially designed algorithms a nd software. The numerical experiment included analysis of sensitivities of signals in galvanic systems to parameters that control frequency dependenc e of complex resistivity within the limits of a model in Cole-Cole formulat ion.
