Abstract
Immunosuppressed organ transplant recipients have an increased risk of deve loping lymphoproliferative disorders that are often associated with Epstein -Barr virus (EBV) infection. We report the case of a pacient who developed multiple myeloma after renal transplantation. EBV-RNA was demonstrated in t he neoplastic cells suggesting the implication of this virus genome in the pathogenesis of this post-transplantation lymphoproliferative disorder.
