Abstract
Graft copolymerisation of [2-(methacryloyloxy)ethyl]-trimethylammonium chlo ride onto sawdusts using KMnO4 as initiator was carried out in order to obt ain new materials bearing quaternary ammonium for the removal of anionic dy es from water. The anionic dye binding capacity was estimated by UV spectro metry using Orange G as representative pollutant.
