Abstract
The cold storage duration of Bombyx mori eggs caused considerable impact on the weight gained by silkworm larvae but the prerefrigeration period has n o influence on the weight of larvae. The rate of weight gained by the larva e of chilled eggs decreased with the increasing duration of refrigeration u p to 70 days. Maximum weight gained by silkworm larvae was of non-refrigera ted eggs while minimum of the 70 days refrigerated eggs for all the prerefr igeration periods of eggs.
