A phytochemical investigation of Laggera pterodonta afforded, in addit
ion to several known compounds, three new eudesmane sesquiterpenes (1-
3) and eight new eudesmane glucosides (pterodontosides A-H; 4-11). The
structures of 1-11 were elucidated by highfield 1D and 2D NMR techniq
ues as well as by chemical methods.
