Abstract
A retrospective study over 78 months was conducted in the rural department Lot-et-Garonne in France. This exhaustive study on bacteriologically proven tuberculosis allowed correction of the number of reported cases and showed that the yearly incidence of tuberculosis and its digestive localizations was 11.6/100,000 inhabitants and 0.2/100,000 inhabitants.
