Three new species of Hymenochaetaceae, Inonotus chilanshanus, Phellinus cyc
lobalanopsis, and P. shoushanus, found growing saprotrophically on the deca
yed stems of Illicium arborescens, Cyclobalanopsis glauca, and Lagerstroemi
a subcostrata, respectively, in Taiwan are described and illustrated. Their
cultural characters are described. A new name, P. dueteroprunicola, is int
roduced as a substitute for P. prunicola T. T. Chang & W. N. Chou non (Murr
ill) R. L. Gilbertson.
