Abstract
[GRAPHICS] A series of fully methylthiolated bi-, ter-, and quatertetrathiafulvalenes have been synthesized using cross- and homocoupling reactions of tetrathiaf ulvalenylzinc derivatives; the tetracation-tetraradical derived from the he lical tetrathiafulvalene tetramer exhibits an intramolecular association of the terminal cation-radicals.
