G. Amelino-camelia, Gravity-wave interferometers as probes of a low-energy effective quantum gravity - art. no. 024015, PHYS REV D, 6202(2), 2000, pp. 4015
The interferometry-based experimental tests of quantum properties of space-
time which the author sketched out in a recent short paper are here discuss
ed in a self-contained fashion. In addition to providing detailed derivatio
ns of the results already announced in the previous paper, some new results
an also derived; in particular, the analysis is extended to a larger class
of scenarios for space-time fuzziness. It is argued that these studies cou
ld be helpful for the search for a theory describing a first stage of parti
al unification of gravity and quantum mechanics.
