Abstract
The influence of the Li+ cation on the alkaline hydrolysis kinetics of a mi xed-ligand fluoroacido complex was studied for the first time. The importan t role of the dehydration of the reacting particles in ion pair formation w as shown. Certain hypotheses on possible mechanisms of the ligand substitut ions in PO2F2- in the presence of the Li+ ion were advanced.
