Abstract
The gas-phase reaction of 4-chlorofluorobenzene with a 4-fold excess of hyd rogen sulfide at 700 degrees C allows simultaneous one-stage synthesis of 4 -fluothiorophenol and bis(4-fluorophenyl) sulfide. The low yield of the rea ction products is compensated for by the facility of their synthesis and is olation.
