Abstract
Polarographic reduction of ethyl 5-aryl-2-diazo-3,5-dioxopentanoate and eth yl 6-aryl-3-diazo-2,4,6-trioxohcxanoate in isopropanol-water solutions proc eeds with three or four polarographic waves and yields, depending on the pH of the solution, pyridazine or pyrazolidine derivatives.
