Abstract
A method, which adopts an improved BP algorithm to distinguish two kinds of vapors (ethanol and gasoline), is presented in this paper. Compared with t he traditional BP algorithm, the improved BP algorithm has good nonlinear a pproximation ability, fast convergent speed and high discrimination ratio. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science S.A.
