Abstract
The interaction between zwitterionic surfactant tetradecyl betaine (C1 4BE) and polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) has been studied by the measuremen ts of surface pressure, surface tension and by Brewster angle microsco py. The results showed that C14BE combined with PVP by its hydrophobic group and led to the formation of the combination which was more hydr ophilic. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science B.V.
