Abstract
3'-O-Methylthiomethyl derivatives of ribonucleosides were synthesized from the selectively protected nucleosides by the action of a dimethyl sulfide-b enzoyl peroxide mixture in acetonitrile or a dimethyl sulfoxide-acetic anhy dride-acetic acid mixture.
