Abstract
In this work we present experimental results on aggregation of mesoscopic s ystems bearing opposite surface charges. The heteroaggregation is driven by electrostatic attraction. We have studied the effect of the relative parti cle concentration and of the surface potentials of both systems. The fastes t reactions were observed when the discharged system was in excess, which c annot be explained by the kinetic theory usually employed.
