Abstract
The results using the Cutting Balloon for the treatment of in-stent resteno sis may be superior to those of conventional percutaneous transluminal coro nary angioplasty (PTCA) or even the combination of PTCA preceded by rotatio nal atherectomy, The reasons for these possible differences are not yet wel l defined, The case we report suggests that the Cutting Balloon achieves a better final result than conventional PTCA, by making the tissue more amena ble to being pushed outward through the stent struts, Cathet Cardiovasc.
