Abstract
A MCM-41/Nafion(R) composite prepared from tetraethoxysilane and Nafion gel solution with cetyltrimethylammonium surfactant, is a highly selective cat alyst for alpha-methylstyrene dimerization to form the corresponding acycli c dimer.
