Abstract
Fe-III-doped TiO2 nanoparticles prepared from organic precursors (less than or equal to 2.5 atom% Fe) exhibit strongly enhanced photocatalytic activit y as demonstrated by the quantum yields measured for the formation of forma ldehyde by photocatalyzed oxidation of methanol in aqueous solution (Phi up to ca. 15%).
