Abstract
This paper deals with the synthesis of butyl acetate by catalytic distillat ion. Main attention is paid to the computer simulations of the catalytic di stillation of acetic acid and butanol as well as a comparison of the numeri cal results and the pilot plant experimental data. A mathematical model of this process is also discussed.
