Abstract
Gold-bearing quartz veins from thf El Callao district. (Guyana Shield, Vene zuela) are filled with several comb quartz generations. Their formation res ults from successive opening and filling stages during which low salinity m ineralized fluids composed by CO2-H2O-salt-(+/-CH4) were trapped.
