Abstract
Gradient index structures have been produced on the surface of fluorid e glasses by anionic exchange processes. A description of the preparat ion of channel waveguides on ZBLA and BIG (Ba-In-Ga) fluoride glasses is presented. The guiding configuration has been determined by the In- lines method and a near-field measurement.
