Abstract
The probability P(Delta Delta) to find the Delta Delta component inside the deuteron, where Delta stands for the Delta(1232) resonance, is calculated in tho Nambu-Jona-Lasinio model of light nuclei. We obtain P(Delta Delta) = 0.3%. This prediction agrees well with the experimental estimate P(Delta D elta) < 0.4% at 90% of CL (D. Allasia ct al., Phys. Lett. B 174, 450 (1986) ).
