Abstract
Two patients were infected with sporotrichosis; one had the fixed cutaneous form, the other the lymphocutaneous form. Sporotrichosis schenckii was ide ntified in both with a culture from a tissue biopsy. Both patients were suc cessfully treated with itraconazole, one received 100 mo and the other 200 mg itraconazole daily over a 3 months period.
