Abstract
The interaction between Ps and a strong laser pulse of short duration is st udied. Substantial population is deposited in excited states under few-phot on excitation. The possible usefulness as a source of excited Ps to spectro scopy and the formation of antihydrogen is discussed. Finally, photoelectro n energy spectra are calculated.
