Abstract
Electroweak radiative corrections to the matrix element [ns(1/2)|(H) over c ap(PNC)|n'p(1/2)] are calculated for highly charged hydrogen-like ions. The operator (H) over cap(PNC) represents the parity nonconserving relativisti c effective atomic Hamiltonian at the tree level. The deviation of these ca lculations from the calculations valid for the neutral atoms demonstrates t he effect of the strong field.
