Abstract
A new method for analysing the effect of voltage flicker on bus voltages is presented in this paper. The Y-matrix and the stochastic theory are used f or obtaining an equivalent 10 Hz voltage fluctuation (Delta V-10) at each b us in the distribution systems. The computation of the proposed method is a chieved in MATLAB using the sparse command. The simulation results show tha t the proposed method is able to estimate all Delta V-10 quickly, but accur ately, in the system, The impact of the voltage flicker sources incorporate d with linear loads and compensators on the system voltages is also discuss ed using the simulation results.
