EMBODYING AN EMERGING PHILOSOPHY OF EMBEDDED-CORE DESIGN, THE LATEST SUPERH MICROPROCESSOR PROVIDES A PLATFORM FOR A WIDE RANGE OF MULTIMEDIA APPLICAT IONS. ITS SIMD EXTENSIONS PROVIDE THE PARALLELISM REQUIRED FOR EFFICIENT EX ECUTION OF THESE APPLICATIONS.
