Abstract
A novel adaptive motion vector quantization algorithm is presented in this letter. The algorithm effectively updates the set of motion vectors using g old-washing technique for block-matching: according to the features of inpu t image sequences. Simulation results show that the algorithm has both robu st performance and low computational complexity for video coding.
