Abstract
By mean of four-wave mixing experiments with picosecond pulses, the localiz ation of holes and charged excitons is evidenced in modulation p-doped CdTe /CdZnMgTe quantum wells. In femtosecond FWM experiments, the observation of quantum beats shows that there is no spatial separation of trions and neut ral excitons.
