Abstract
1,5-Anhydro-D-fructose (1) has been converted into crystalline oximes. 1,5- Anhydroalditols and 2-amino-2-deoxy-1,5-anhydroalditols have been prepared by stereoselective reduction procedures from 1 and from the oximes, respect ively.
