A. Patrykiejew et al., Effects of pore-pore correlations on capillary condensation in an ensembleof slit-like pores: Application of a density functional theory, J COLL I SC, 228(1), 2000, pp. 135-140
Using a density functional method we study how the correlations between par
ticles adsorbed in neighboring pores, forming a network of slit-like pores,
influence the capillary condensation and the structure of adsorbed Lennard
-Jones fluid. The calculations indicate that if the distance between two po
res is small enough, these correlations lead to pronounced changes in the d
ensity profiles, to an increase of the critical temperature, and to the mod
ifications in the coexistence envelope. (C) 2000 Academic Press.
